From noon to 8:26 PM, join 826 Valencia, your fellow writers, and some special guests for a our third-annual Write-a-thon, benefiting 826 Valencia’s free student programs, and write your way to San Francisco fame.
Like a marathon or walkathon, round up pledges from your friends and family before the big event to win some exciting gifts. Then come write with us on 8/26 Day for your chance to win the grand prize – your very own reading. We’ll start the day with a special workshop from The Grotto (suggested donation of $25) centered around their new book, 642 Things to Write About, and designed to get you inspired. Then we’re off and writing – with more surprises throughout the day.
