Fifth-graders interview the San Francisco Giants

On Friday, February 6, three of 826’s fantastic 5th-graders from Buena Vista Horace Mann got the opportunity to participate in Media Day at AT&T Park. These three talented writers were chosen to interview some of the San Francisco Giants as Rookie Reporters for Giants Magazine. Press badges in hand, these mini-reporters held their own alongside most of our local press outlets, including CSN Bay Area and KRON 4 News. Interviews, pictures, and thrilling times were had by all. Their exciting day hob-nobbing with such greats as Brandon Crawford, Joe Panik, and Hunter Pence will be documented in their Rookie Reporter articles in an upcoming issue of Giants Magazine.
