826 Valencia kids write letters to Michelle Obama

Please join us as we celebrate the release of I Live Real Close to Where You Used to Live: Kids’ Letters to Michelle Obama, this Friday, December 10 at 7:00 PM in our writing lab. The launch party will feature readings by the 826 Valencia students who contributed letters to I Live Real Close, with the book’s editor, Lauren Hall, as emcee. Added bonus: The Pirate Store will be open until 10:00 PM that evening as part of the Mission Holiday Block Party, the annual neighborhood-shop crawl to support local businesses.
