Capture Neighborhood Moments through Cardboard Sculpture

Neighborhoods are full of surprises and the Mission is an especially surprising place. Let’s take a look outside and experience what’s happening. Have you seen the colorful murals in Clarion Alley? What’s going on in that park next door?

Artists are inspired by the things they see around them – you can be too! This 2-day workshop will explore our Mission neighborhood and show you how to make artworks, (sculptures and dioramas) out of recycled cardboard, inspired by some of the things we see around us.

Los barrios están llenos de sorpresas y la Misión es un lugar especialmente sorprentente. Vamos a echarle un vistazo y experimentar qué está pasando ahí fuera. ¿Has visto los murales coloridos de Clarion Alley? ¿Qué está sucediendo en el parque de enfrente?

Los artistas se inspiran por las cosas que tienen a su alrededor -¡tú también puedes hacerlo! Este taller de 2 días explorará el barrio de la Misión y te enseñará a hacer obras de arte (esculturas y dioramas) a partir de cartón reciclado, inspirados por aquello que nos rodea.
