Help your students' writing come to life!

This training will offer basic tools for working with young people on their writing. Learn where to start, how to offer feedback, and tips and tricks for helping students write creatively, confidently and in their own voice. We will work in small groups to tackle common challenges, like reluctancy or rowdiness, and we'll practice our new skills on samples of student writing. Important tenants of 826's tutor handbook will be reviewed and we'll build on the collective expertise from everyone at the table. For new and seasoned volunteers.
