This workshop will teach you the basics of how to translate a poem from Spanish to English and back again. What you’ll discover is that at the end of this workshop, you’ll have not one but two or three different poems, all expressing the same sentiments in different ways! Think of translation as a poetry duplication machine. Get ready to express yourself in two languages, and double your readership!

Este taller le enseñará lo básico sobre cómo traducir un poema del español al inglés y otra vez al español. Al final de este taller, tendrá no sólo uno, sino dos o tres poemas diferentes expresando el mismo sentimiento de maneras diferentes. Piense en la traducción como una máquina de duplicación de poesía. ¡Prepárese para expresarse en dos lenguas, y doblar su número de lectores!
