Writing and Publishing Apprentices: Summer Edition

Please note: This summer, we’ll be doing some repairs to the roof on our Writing Lab here at 826. To accommodate this construction, we have several possibilities for off-site locations where we can host workshops should the construction go past its projected date. All of these locations are very nearby 826.

If the location of your workshop is listed as “TBD”, sit tight! We’ll be in touch by June 25^th to inform you of the location of your workshop.

Writing and Publishing Apprentices: Summer Edition

Open to 10 students, ages 13 to 18
A six-session workshop

Writing and Publishing Apprentices brings together students and writing professionals for a semester-long workshop designed to guide whatever creative writing project you have in mind. This is an opportunity to learn a variety of skills from professional writers and editors and to get college writing-workshop style feedback from your peers and from tutors. Because of the limited time available, a small amount of writing outside of class will be expected each week.

Este taller, Aprendices de escribir y publicar, junta a estudiantes y escritores profesionales para un taller que dura un semestre, que te guiará en cualquier proyecto de escribir que tengas en mente. Además de aprender los básicos del proceso de escribir, recibirás ayuda con tu proyecto, y consejos de tus iguales al estilo de taller de escribir al nivel universitario. Tendrás la oportunidad de trabajar en tu proyecto individualmente con tutores.
