To accommodate this construction, we have several possibilities for off-site locations where we can host workshops should the construction go past its projected date. The Invisible “I” Re-Writing the Five-Paragraph Essay Taught by Katie Bondy A four-week workshop Open to 10 students ages 11-13 Fridays July 5-26 12:30-2:30 PM Do you find writing five-paragraph essays for school to be a daunting, boring, and joyless task? Then this workshop is here to change your mind! Throughout our four sessions, we will re-think the way we think about analytic writing, finding ways to express opinions that matter to us while still keeping to the more formal requirements of the genre. We will work on breaking down the different components of each paragraph into easy and fun steps, building an important toolbox of skills for you to carry into your high school classes and beyond. You will leave this workshop with a persuasive, well-crafted essay and the confidence to write many more in the future!
