It’s Mother’s Day, and what better way is there for you to show your unique appreciation for mom than to give her a hand-drawn comic? In this workshop, taught by professional comic artist and former 826 student Emma Capps, you will be shown the process of creating comic strips along with unique tips and tricks on how to write punch lines, design characters, and make the very best comics you can. And you’ll leave the class with a newspaper-style comic strip, perfect as a personal gift for mom.
