Food + Community

Ms. Sekine's AVID class is studying the Nourish California curriculum for Food+Community. In groups of two, with support from tutors like you, students will select one of the general themes: Teach and Learn, Grow Your Own, Create Community, Change the Menu, Shop Wisely, or Take a Stand. The groups will then write speeches based on one of these topics to educate their peers about healthy eating! We will work on this same project for four consecutive Mondays. Join us for as many sessions as you can!
