Window Reception for Lisa Brown

The Pirate Store is thrilled to announce that our next window installation will be designed by Lisa Brown, who in addition to being a dear friend of 826 Valencia and a frequent field trip leader, is also the bestselling author and/or illustrator of a growing number of books for children, teens and new parents, including How to Be, The Latke Who Couldn’t Stop Screaming, and Baby Mix Me a Drink. Lisa lives in San Francisco, California with her son and her husband, who is rumored to be Lemony Snicket. Please join us in celebrating the new lighthouse-themed installation on Thursday, February 21st from 5-7pm.
