Destination: Here Travel Writing Taught by Chelsea Shover Open to 10 students, ages 11-13 A one-day workshop Sunday, January 13 12:30-2:30 Just like travel itself, travel writing is as much about the journey as it is the destination. In this workshop, you’ll document your own journeys large and small using techniques of creative non-fiction. Taught by Chelsea Shover, a former 826 Valencia intern who has worked as a journalist in the US, Hong Kong and New Zealand, this is a great workshop for anyone who explores their surroundings everywhere they go, and embarks on their travels with a story in mind.
