(In-Schools Program)

Every week,  Mr. D'Amico's 8th grade Language Arts students write a fast, one-draft response to a prompt. They'll need our to edit, revise, and make a mess of these drafts to prepare for a rewrite using good vocabulary, balance of plot summary and analysis, complex sentences, and many more elements of great writing.
This project will meet in Mr. D'Amico's classroom, not in the Writers' Room at James Lick. When you sign in, you'll wait in the lobby for all the tutors and then head straight to the classroom right at 1:00 PM. Mr D'Amico will put you to work one-on-one with students that need the most help.
