A three-week workshop
June 4 to June 18
Mondays, 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
What if you wanted to write a love story without the letter e? What if, to accurately represent the feelings of your favorite noonday doodle, which doesn’t look like a rabbit, your flash fiction would have to be structured like your not-a-rabbit? Anything’s possible in this workshop. Or almost anything. Through readings and writing exercises, which may or may not involve a top hat, we will explore unconventional approaches to writing fiction. This workshop will be taught bi-lingually, so students must have knowledge of the Spanish language.

Y qué tal si quisieras escribir una historia de amor sin la letra e? Y qué tal si intuyeras que para hacer una representación precisa de los sentimientos de tú garabato favorito, el cual no se parece a un conejo, tu mini-cuento sobre el no-es-conejo tendría que ser estructurado como tu no-es-conejo? Todo es posible en este taller. O casi todo. A través de lecturas y ejercicios de escritura, algunos de los cuales puede que sí (o puede que no) involucren a un sombrero de copa, exploraremos maneras poco convencionales de escribir ficción. El taller será impartido en español y ingles y los materiales serán en español así que por favor sean bien versos en español.
