Creative expression takes many forms, and can even shift from one medium into another. In this workshop, Liss Fain shows how language and dance can interact and inspire one another. How text can be a springboard for movement and concepts, and how words have a cadence, rhythm, and music of their own. A story is created and then read aloud, woven with non-literal movement. If you love writing or dancing or both, this workshop is a great introduction to a whole new way of exploring the possibilities of the written word. At the end of the workshop you will get to see your work performed by professional dancers!
