A one-day workshop

Who among us truly knows all there is to know about whales? Nobody, of course! That’s because the more we learn about these majestic mammals, the more questions we want to ask! In this workshop, students will be taken on an imaginary journey into the mysterious world of everyone’s favorite larger-than-life sea-dwelling beast. They will learn not only fascinating information about whales but also how to creatively express their discoveries. Each student will end up with his or her own whale story, to be published in a chapbook. Not to mention bona fide whale-expert status!

Quién realmente sabe todo sobre las ballenas? Nadie, por supuesto! Entre más aprendemos sobre estos mamíferos magníficos, más preguntas tenemos! En este taller, los estudiantes harán un viaje imaginario al mundo misterioso de esta bestia enorme del mar. No sólo aprenderás información interesantísimo sobre las ballenas, sino también cómo expresar con creatividad tus descubrimientos. Cada estudiante terminará el taller como experto en ballenas, y con su propio libro hecho a mano.
