A four-week workshop

Saturdays, 12:30-2:30 PM

They don’t wear capes or have the ability to fly, but heroes are all around us. Behind the guy selling newspapers, the worker tending to a garden, and the bus driver driving across town, amazing stories of heroism, intrigue, and adventure abound. This workshop will help you develop the observational skills of a crime scene investigator, the critical eye of a journalist, and the narrative chops of a master storyteller to unearth, celebrate, and weave stories about the often overlooked lives of amazing local heroes.

No llevan capa o tienen la habilidad de volar, pero hay héroes alrededor nuestro. Detrás del chico que vende periódicos, del trabajador que se ocupa del jardín y del conductor de autobús que cruza la ciudad a menudo abundan historias increíbles de heroísmo, intriga y aventura. Este taller te ayudará a desarrollar tus habilidades de observación como investigador de la escena de un crimen, el ojo crítico de periodista y las habilidades narrativas de un maestro cuentacuentos para sacar a la luz, celebrar y tejer historias que a menudo pasan desapercibidas de las vidas de los asombrosos héroes de barrio.
