Our Second Amendment

Our fabulously talented and insightful students will be analyzing articles from different points of view regarding the 2nd Amendment.  They then will use their notes from these articles to create and support a thesis statement based on their personal beliefs about whether to repeal, modify, or keep the 2nd Amendment.  Students will provide and analyze their evidence in a persuasive essay.  Students will need help gathering and organizing evidence, making a clear argument, considering a counterargument, and using and citing multiple sources in a persuasive essay.
