Playwriting at Mission High School

Ms. Colker's 9th - 12th grade Peer Resources students are collectively writing a play on the topic of violence and they need your help to revise and edit their work thus far. The play takes place in an urban high school and addresses violence on the streets, gang-related violence, self-inflicted violence, bullying, and depression. They're developing eleven characters, each with a different response to the violence they encounter. Students have been working in small groups to each contribute a scene to the final script, and tutor support is needed to help students create powerful scenes, develop characters, and incorporate elements of good playwriting.
