The craft of writing is like the hero’s journey.  Just as a hero is one who answers the call to adventure, a great writer is anyone who answers the call to write with a brave “yes!” In an atmosphere of support for our fellow members of the heroic authors’ guild, we will explore the hero’s journey as it relates to writers: crossing the threshold to talk about setting; meeting friendly and unfriendly characters with empathy; overcoming conflict; fiercely facing the abyss of no-inspiration, and returning to the community with a gift.
