Diary of a Young Whale
(Workshop)
Open to 10 students, ages 8-10
A two-week workshop
June 12-19
Sundays, 12:30-2:30 PM
If you could be any animal, which would you be? A bird flying over the trees catching insects? A whale migrating around the world with your family? In this workshop, we will learn about plants and animals and their roles in the environment. You will pick your favorite animal(or plant) and do a bit of fact-finding. Then, using these facts and ideas from the workshop, you'll write journal entries through the eyes of your favorite animals. At the end of the workshop, we'll have a bound journal of your adventures.
To sign up, check the first day of this workshop.
