Once there was a cat named Shmeck. He liked to sit on laps of people. He also liked to scratch the rug and couch. One day Shmeck did not scratch the rug or couch. He also did not sit on any laps.

The other day I came home from school and saw a crazy guy with a long shaggy beard. He was at my door and said, “Ahoy there, young lass. I’m your long lost uncle.”
